While performing expert witnessing for elevator related cases is not a primary service of Vertical Assessments, we do accept certain cases for either plaintiff or defense. Historically we have provided representation for our clients equally, regardless of their position in the case.

 Dan Tyler, Expert Witness

Dan Tyler has a BS in mechanical engineering and a MBA in finance and
international business. He is a QEI certified elevator inspector with
nineteen years experience in the elevator industry including
management, elevator design and engineering, project management for new
equipment and alterations, consulting, evaluation, and code compliance
inspections. He has worked for major elevator companies such as Otis,
Westinghouse and Schindler, as well as major elevator consulting firms.
