Class Information:

Choose the date and location best for you! Most elevator certifications require continuing education within 12 months of renewal; it is recommended that you not wait until just prior to the renewal date to obtain your required education credits!

Each class will be an eight credit hour continuing education course for Certified Elevator Technicians, QEI Certified Inspectors, and Florida Elevator CC card holders, focusing on the 2007 Edition of A17.1, A17.3, and Chapter 30 of the Florida Building Code. Classes will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Pensacola class will be Central Standard Time).

Cost - Prices have been increased slightly to include a box lunch:

$ 90.00 per person for Florida Certificate of Competency continuing education credit

$175.00 per person for CET credit – Approved by NAEC

$175.00 per person for QEI credit (0.8 CEU) – Approved by EIWPF & QEI Services

$200.00 per person for QEI credit (0.8 CEU) - Approved by NAESA

QEI renewal now requires 10 hours (1.0 CEU) continuing education. Both NAESA and EIWPF have agreed to credit two hours continuing education (0.2 CEU) for taking the annual renewal exam online in accordance with QEI-1. This, in addition to an 8-hour (0.8 CEU) workshop like this one, will provide the annual requirement for continuing education.

(CET renewal also requires 10 hours including at least one hour of safety – contact us if the additional two hours are required)
